Windy

Basically small craft warnings today, and I think I still count as a small craft. Was able to get out the harbor before the change in tide turned the current right into the wind. From there I worked around the shallow flat and stayed with a couple hundred yards of the beach. Went as far as the Sandy Neck parking lot without seeing anything working the shore line. Several times further out I saw birds working but after putting the wind at my back and heading out there, saw no breaking fish and the birds would scatter. I'm thinking the bait was being blown away from the shore and the birds were picking it off in the chop. Returned to BH to see if any of the bait was being swept into the harbor, but no, did not see any activity. good test for the boat as I stayed dry with only one spray when broad side to the wind.
