I can say first hand there are lots of guy's on this site that will offer you
excellent advice. My two cents is hire a local guide. He knows where to go, when
to go and what to use. They usually supply all the equipment, so basically all
you need to do is show up and learn from them. Be up front with them and tell
them what your expectations are. Check out the site www.bluenorthern.com they are
located in Ayer MA. which is a about twenty minutes from Boston. Talk to Bob or
Juro. They are nice people any seriously know their stuff.
