This is just a drive-by report. No one fishing the river for stripers when I
was there, but plenty of herring swimming around (after all, this is the river
that feeds the Wareham run further upstream). Expect some guys there on the
weekend though as mostly holdover stripers start moving.
Right now, the hot trout fishing in the area is more enticing.
