I talked to George Tuesday afternoon. When I got home from work Wednesday the tape and booklet were waiting for me. I've been watching the Lefty video for about the last 10 seasons. George's video is quite a contrast. He is serious, fairly technical and the way he breaks down the cast with the photography is very effective. It is also geared for the salt-water angler who has to deal with large flys and wind. George fishes a floating line and is not too fond of the Teeny type lines that I spend most of my striper time with. I took a group lesson from Lefty several years ago which I credit for the last 20' of my cast. George is scheduling group lessons this spring as well as the private ones. You can benefit quite a bit from a tape providing you spend some time on the lawn practicing. If you already got the basics down then an actual lesson will make a big difference. Tight loops....
