I'm a little embarrassed to posed this question -- after all, I've only been using spinning reels for 30 years. But I've never been quite sure what the "right" way is to grease a drag on a spinning reel. For example, are you supposed to use grease or oil? Do you use just a smidge or more than that? Do you apply the lubricant to just some of the washers or all of them? And what about the top washer -- do you grease the side of it that contacts the drag knob. And finally (shudder) how bad would it be if you didn't use any grease on a drag?
