4/3 (Smallmouth) bass awaken on Cape Cod

For some reason, smallmouths decided to bite at Mares pond today. Got three, saw two more people landing them, and heard of one other catch. I got mine on clouser-like flies, fished on the shallows adjacent to dropoffs. 12"-14"
