NH fish report - not a striper but an "S" fish anyway

I am sooooo incredibly excited. Fished this afternoon a stretch a river above the ladder in my town and caught 2 nice brookies which were delegated to the smoker for tomorrows dinner. At about 2pm took a hit while bottom drifting a small worm (yeah, so sue me:-0), in some riffles below a dam, nice fight. Landed a 17" silver salmon. Weighed just over a pound. Kinda fat and definately frisky. No rubbed fins or nose. No verticle stripes. Released to live hopefully longer. 20 minutes later using the same tactics at another run caught another, this one a nice 20 inches and 3 pounds on the boga. Again bright silver. Measured about 3 inches across the shoulders. Could they be returning? I released this one as well. What a great day!
