i went to the bournedale run twice today. once in the am (low tide) the other around noon (high tide.) not one herring was there either time. there're a bit late this year. last year i wrote in my log that they were there, in small numbers on the 28 th of march. by april 5th, i wrote that the numbers had increased significantly. maybe just later than last year. i hope it's not a dip in the population?
