Paul -

If you're in a lake-run tributary, ignore the following.

If you're in a coastal region... do you remember if it had any orange or reddish spots?
Did the end of the upper jaw lobe seem to extend past the eye toward the tail or end at
the eye? Was the caudal extension (the wrist of the tail) slim or thick? Did fins have
a white leading edge highlight? Any spots on the adipose?

Were the volmerines in a straight line or in two alternating rows? Forget the last one.

You certainly have gotten me curious though.
