I agree with Tom's Rod and Reel sugestions. I also use the Orvis Battenkill and
feel its the best for the money. I use a 9 wt Orvis rod with 9 wt line but I use the
Battenkill 10/11 model. This gives a larger spool capacity without very much
additional weight. I also use the a Battenkill 10/11 for my 11 wt rod.
