Thought the post title might get your attention or at least stir your blood..
Anyway, I christened a recently built 9' 3 wgt rod at a local pond this past Saturday 4/3.
This rod was intended to maximize the sport of fly fishing for panfish , bass and pickerel.
It didn't disappoint and helped to land numerous bluegills, crappie(callico bass locally)
yellow perch, and pickerel. A true slam as they were all taken on the same fly.
The highlight of the day was six, foot-long + yellow perch which I'll consume tonight. Yummy!
Regards

"If bluegill grew to 5 lbs -I'd fish for nothing else( except smallmouths)
