Have you ever fished "The Rock" before? The island has a ton of spots to fish from shore and all can be super productive that time of year! Be prepared to put in a lot of time at night though, as, like everywhere the fatties are best caught from shore in dark! which is good because the albies like the bright sun, at least in my experience out there. You're also gonna need to get a copy of the Gazette's tide chart for the time you're out there! The tides are dramatically different from one part of the island to the next...you can literally move around every couple of hours and find moving water.....just need a reference to pin down the times.......I've had my best luck with the basic patterns and good knots if you get into albies! e-mail me and I'll share "A FEW" of my spots....I'm no expert mind you, but then who is?
