Josko,Ive had real good luck double anchoring with my canoe.Depending what you have for handles on the ends of your canoe.I made up a small pulpit out of 2x6 stock,notched out 2"x2" square,drilled an inserted a bolt.I bolted the pulpit with large washers for backing to the handle hole.I run 1\4"nylon over the bolt from a small mushroom anchor to the cross yoke.When I get the my first anchor set in the rear letting the wind position me then drop the pulpit anchor.Winds over 20mhp I dont bother going out.
