Dave,

If you want to try out shooting heads, drop me a line. I have eleven-weight thirty-foot Cortlands that you are welcome to use. They are intermediate, and super-sink. I also have a brand new Gudebord running line. The whole system is already rigged, and has new 40lb. butts nail-knotted and glued.

While stretching my brand new 12-weight Airflo int. shooting head today, it snapped right in half! I was not too enthused about the line, particularly it's propensity to retain the shape of the reel arbor. Luckily it waas covered under warranty, and I used the credit to get a new Cortland clear intermediate. I haven't tried it yet, but I think I might like it better than the Airflo.

I'm done with the shooting heads.....

Jay
