I just tied up a mess of flourocarbons. I hope the knots hold. I caught a bonito on an Orvis pre-tied last year and it held up okay.
Then again, when fishing for bonefish in Harbour Island last winter with Bonefish Joe Cleare, he made me take off the knotted leader and replace it with a regular tapered mono one. He said the knots distracted the fish.
