Mark-

I use the Multi-Tip line that Offshore Angler sells. It uses a loop connection
to add a floating, intermediate, medium sink or fast sink section to the line.
I'm not in love with it (but I'm too cheap to replace it, at least for this
season)primarily because of the loop connection. It will occasionally get caught
up slightly in the guides both when I'm casting and when I'm stripping. It hasn't
happened yet when I've had a fish on (which may be a function of the tension on
the line?)but Murphy's Law dictates that it will on the day I hook my first keeper.
In keeping with my propensity towards cheapness I've been wondering about the
STH Salt Cassette Reel. At least with that you're only buying a $10 cassette
instead of a $90 spool for each line. Does anybody out there use one?
