While in the Vineyard last fall I talked to a charter captain with whom I go striper fishing. He told me that while chumming with bunker for stripers, he regularly had albies turning up in the slick. I've never tried it, but I know of some people here in NJ who chum with sand eels and silversides for albies. I assume it would work for bonito.
