Brockton Ma. The Fuller Museum of Art presents "Crafted for Sports"
an exibition featuring individual handcrafted objects designed by contempory artistisians for outdoor use. Items include :bamboo fly rods , duck decoys ,falconry equipment,kites,canoes,knives ,leatherworks,canoe paddles ,archery equipment, fishing flies, hiking equipment and surfboards.All items are fully functional . The exhibition illustrates the relation between an objects function and the artistry of its form. The exhibit is open July 10 -Sept 6 with a free reception 5 to 8 pm july 9 . Gallery hours are noon to 5 pm .Tues - Sunday .
