I can't get my wife to fish with me, no matter what I do. I wish that I could because she could learn both how enjoyable it is and why I like it so much. On the other hand I do like to fish some difficult-to-get-to spots and I definitely relish the solitude and time for reflection afforded when fishing alone.
I am sure that if I could get her 'into' fishing, she would be more understanding of my obsession. I hope somebody posts that winning formula that allows fishermen to keep their spouses happy while they are off fishing so often.
