bet you that you will spool the 5000 . it's too small for that rod.
the SMALLEST reel you should use is a 6500. yours will not give you much line to fight a fish if hooked at the end of cast. as for 25-30 lb it's too much to ask of that reel it does not have the drag or capacity.I would bring another reel just in case
