I'll be in Vermont this weekend so it's a no-go for me.
IMHO Casting practice and fishing don't mix very well. When I try to do this I invariably end up fishing instead of casting.
I would really like to do this, and I agree that we should do it on the water.
My proposal:
Not Thanksgiving weekend, but the weekend after, but only if the warm weather holds out.
How about Little Pond in Plymouth? Midway between Boston and Cape. Plenty of parking. Easy access from route three. Nice clean water. Protection from wind. Nice sandy beaches with plenty of back-cast room. Might catch a really stupid big trout or Salmon b
roodstock. Plenty of outdoor, " Facilities."
