In reading Stripers and Streamers I notice Ray Bondorew makes mention of tinned hooks outfishing stainless at night( his experience). Has anyone else done any file keeping on this? As a just getting started fly fisher making an attempt at tying his own
flies I would be interested in some opinions and availability of the Eagle Claw #254. Of course I ask this after purchasing some #34007's. I find his statement on different hook constuction after dark to be very interesting.
