I use Diamondback fly rods onboard my boat for my charters and for personal use. Diamondback is now owned by Cortland. The warranty is unconditional and I've never had a problem getting a replacement for a broken rod. The 9wt Saltwater rod is a great rod, fast action, but perhaps a bit heavier that the T & T Horizon. The 9 wt Backwater rod is not as fast as the Saltwater but a super rod for the money (@$210) and one that a beginner or advanced fly fisher would enjoy.
