Re: Lead wire for flies

Hey Larry,

All those big flies in my box are tied on 5/0 hooks. Much heavier than the 3/0.

I epoxy the heads kind of thick, which gives them a nice, " Up-and-down," action in the water.

I just bought some 8/0 fly hooks yesterday.

Anybody tried 8/0's yet?
