Jayster...If you want to try my 8wt let me know. I haven't had it long but it's action fits my current casting motion and it feels just right. I'll probably buy a 10wt for the boat. I tried the Saltwater and as a beginner it just seemed too stiff. They are pretty though!! I'm sure our friend Brian at Old Salt will let you cast both.
