While I wasn't buying a boat from them, I was looking at buying a used Nauset from a private seller. I went to the factory to get as much info as I could get on the boat and their response was unbelieveably GREAT!

Paul Ayles took me on a tour of the facility & showed me new boats under construction, including their super Center Console that someone "a lot richer" than me was equipping for SWFF guided trips. It had a diesel under the huge console connected to an I/O outdrive via a jackshaft.

There was a seamless, projectionless, SS custom rail about 4" off of the hull all of the way around, with cleats in hawser pipes, etc. I grew up in boatyards and walked away very impressed with their workmanship & quality of hardware/materials.

Anyway, Paul then spent at least another 20 minutes of his time asking about condition of the boat, engine, asking price, etc. He finally advised me to buy it - that it was a really good deal IF the boat was in the condition I described.

All of this advice & the tour and I wasn't spending a dime with them... Just for kicks, I looked at a couple of used rigs & thought the asking prices were fair from what I saw. Don't know who you guys spoke with... Maybe they do cater to buyers with thicker wallets (no offense to anyone here . . .), but I was extremely pleased them with on the afternoon I spent there.
