As Mark and others have mentioned it is a brand new show. The folks who thought it was a good idea to move it to Providence are now defunct. I have seen the floor layout and it is completely different from the old show. I am not sure if this will make it less crowed or not. I do know that it has a huge impact on the local dealers. If we as a fishing community do not support our local dealers and speciality shops all we will have left are * Marts and catalogs. I know I look forward to the Magazine's new gear guides. But I feel it is a lot nicer to touch and feel than to just read about. I also have some inside info that the local dealers work very hard contacting manufactures trying to come up with good gear at discount prices for these shows. I hope to see a lot of you there, if we do not attend such avents next year or the year after we will all be writing to this thread complaining that there are no fishing shows to attend during this cabin fever season. If you do go stop by the BNT
