I'm sorry to hear that you feel that way about Nauset Marine. Being treated poorly, or giving an air of not being interested has not been my experience.
I had a boat BUILT by them a few years back anf they were a pleasure to deal with. Things like that dont come cheap. This year my son had a lobster boat
built by a top builder in Maine for a top price. What an experience, everything was an estimate. Some items came in thousands over the estimate. I hope we
dont get to lawyers. That didnt happen with Nauset. An estimate came in 10%
under or over the price. Three warranty problems. All arrangements were quickly handled by Ron, even with me being 200mi. from them.
I have used them for parts with engine installs, references to other suppliers
in the boating industry when they dident carry the item.
Lets talk price. Their not the cheapest on the street by far. But I think
you get what you pay for. They did stand behind their product(s)for me. I found over the years that a business cant charge rock bottom prices and provide all the after market support to every customer. All that support has to priced
into the price somewhere. Go to the main store in Orleans and try again.
PS I belive their one, if not the biggest Grady White dealers in the US and
when Boston Whaler was on top, they were the largest distributor with them
as well. You dont get their by not being interested in what the customer
wants. Good Luck!
