As to the Fish Wire report 10/30 - Cape Cod canal section. I agree. Although I love the Gibbs 2 1/4 Polaris ( any color), It's more than a little frustrating to cast
the damn thing 125 yrds (with a good wind) only to have the plug sink immediately. It takes 25 to 30 yrds to get control of the plug again and thats usually the most productive part of the cast. So, any idea no matter how expensive would be appreciated. This is by no means to be taken as fatal criticism of Gibbs which are the finest plugs on the market as far as I'm concerned.
