Joe,

I was in Islamorada last may - early. Funky winter/spring weather-wise

there last year, may or may not be the same this year, but I would plan

any trip down there for mid to late may... just to be safe. Tarpon should be more

available and weather less iffy.

BTW, where is punta gorda?
