I made out great at the annual Eastmans lure sale this spring (april or may, if I remember right). I've also got all sorts of plugs which looked cool at some random store but seem to catch nothing but weeds. My advice is to know what you want and wait for the local stores to have a sale. (I betcha that a 5" olive-white rebel catches more schoolies than any Yo-Zuri costing 2-3 times as much.)
