phil, my wife and i have been all over the carib. firstly, stay away from st.lucia! there is NO fishing there, and the natives are not at all hospitable. boy did we find that out. we've been to Nevis, nice and remote. we stayed @ the Four Seasons. very opulent, but other than the resort, not much happening. however, people were great. also, i think they got hammered by hurricane georges. we love Tortola.we've been there 4 times. wonderful people, great food, world class beaches. fishing on tortola isn't good. however, take a 5 min plane ride out of Beef Island and you can go to Anegada. great bonefishing, and some permit. there is only one guide, his name is Garfield Faulkner. these flats are deserted, and the bonefish are easy to catch. you could even stay @ the Anegada Reef Hotel. we stayed there for a couple weeks. it's REAL different. if you'd like me to, i can elaborate.Anagada, only has 250 people on it, and the entire island is deserted beach. most times, my wife and i never saw other human footprints. this year we are planning to either go to Abaco or Andros in the bahamas. thanks to dale for sharing the info with us. ps. dale i'll return the book this week. anyway, if i can help further, let me know, and i'll e-mail you .
