Kevin, I fished Napatree on 10/31. Before dawn I saw pods of big bait. On the way to the rocks I picked up a 26" bass. Guys at the point were frustrated. Met friends who were discouraged. At about 6:30 am a switch must have went off. I worked a school of adult bunker. If I cast the ocean side I hooked into big Blues and bass. If I cast between shore and the Bunker I got small bass. Guys with fly rods towards the east end said they hooked albacore. Things died down by 8 or so. One fly guy snagged a Bunker. As he was pulling it in a Blue nailed it. By the time the man got the fish in it was drowned. A passerby was delighted to take it home. I caught two bunkers on small white Deceivers. evan on a nine weight they were fun. Some flyrodders from Pennsylvania were in on the bite and seemed ecstatic. I wonder if they think that happens everyday. I roamed around until sunset but didn't connect. hed beaches with 4wds. I can't stand their Neanderthal behavior. The second they see a rod bent they jump in their rigs and elbow you out. I only fish walk in spots. Ted
