It's nice...and deep. The water cuts right under the bank so you gotta watch your step, even on the edge I was afraid the chunk I was standing on would break away. Inspecting it closer in the day, it was a good six or seven feet at the bottom of the tide even, and the water was moving pretty good. Once that mouth gets shallow, though...The fish must have to keep a lookout for the water level, because it gets only inches deep just about fifty feet from the mouth...I was scratching my head trying to figure out where it was even deep enough for them to scurry back out into the bay. Who knows, maybe they head up inside till the tide comes back. Neat little spot, though. Definite nighttime spot, because in daylight you would see them right under your feet, as they Would you. :-)
