11/04 I had a pair of Streamline neopreme waders that I used for over 10 years without any leaks. I will admit that I didn't use them all the time, only in the spring and fall, as they, in my opinion are to warm. The good thing being that they are like a life preserver in being that they will float you. I know as I went over backwards in a float tube, had to swim and crawl to shore. This spring I saw a flyer for a pair of Streamline neopreme for $140 a saving of about $50, so I bought them and gave the old pair to one of my sons. I also have a pair of tough cordura waders, which I use except when the water is real cool. They have a tough plastic coating on the inside. I do wear a belt as they are baggy and easily would fill with water, and you wouldn't float. Even though they are insulated they are cold. I even use these when I go deer hunting in the rain or snow, with a short parka over the top. Snug as a bug in a rug. Yes, I even shot deer with them on. No problem with blood, washes
right off. I drive the beaches wearing either the neopremes, or the cordova waders. The only problem I see is that if your not careful you will get your car seat wet with saltwater. Cold water neopremes, cool water the cordova ones. The cordova ones are boat foot, and the neopremes are boat foot with felts. I hope I didn't confuse the issue. Art B.
