Unfortunately, those are not the breathable kind. Additionally, my circle of fishing buddies refers to canvas coated rubber waders as "death" waders. If they fill with water your going down with them (like the captain of the ship). I have a pair that I use on occasion as back-ups if my neoprenes are in repair mode and I always strap a knife to the suspenders in case I need to cut myself free (or take myself out quickly instead of drowning) On the other hand, I think the felt soles grab much better on slippery rocks and they should be less likely to puncture than the true gore-tex breathables.
