FWIW I have neoprenes and " Death Waders." I like the Death waders for their water proofness and unmatched durability. I like the neoprenes because they're easier to move around in.
I wear the death's 90% of the time.
Take precautions, like the knife mentioned above, maybe some of those inflatable suspenders.
These waders will last for many years, unlike the other kinds.
People have fished in this type of wader for over fifty-years, and they didn't all die!
