I keep my boat in the Weweantic and my father owns a house there. I'm well aware of the
the wonderful striper fishing it's backwaters and rock laden channels have to offer. And quite frankly
I don't appreciate you sharing with the world that the weweantic has great late
season striper fishing. Actually,cogratulations. That is a great morning on the river you recorded. I've been fishing it heavily for
the last 4 years and have only taken 8 keepers. I trolled the river(white bucktail, rind), casted(plugs, sluggo, salt assasin), and even drifted
our last menhaden chunk, and landed one 22" fish for my efforts on saturday. Boy, do I feel stupid
for pulling the boat Sat afternoon. By the way, at the right time and tide, which obviously you had, that spot is money!!!!!!
