Dave,
First off, you gotta' cut back on the coffee.
Secondly, the part of your question that I understand:
I think what you're trying to say sounds right. With the shooting heads, all the weight is in the first 30-38' depending on whose heads you buy. Everything behind that is running line. You get the shooting head out near the end of the line and let her rip. It should take only two false casts to cast any shooting head. This is also true for the shooting head imitiation lines you mention. If you get the whole head out of the tip-top, the line begins to hinge, because the running line can't support the weight of the line in the air. Your loop goes to hell, and you end up with a weak cast.
Take it from me, I'm the world leader in weak casts.
The rest of your question, I can't follow. Must be the, " New Math," people are always talking about.
