Talked to my usual, diehard fishing buddy tonight and he says that he swung by the Sagamore Bridge parking area this morning where I met up with Jay at a couple weeks ago. It was early morning and he confirms that many schoolies are still hitting in the ole ditch. (this also confirms Steve Susko's "East End" assessment)
He was hitting schoolies on (about) every other cast or so with a white bucktail. For you fly guys, it looks like there is still plenty of action left in the ditch if you want to give a November bass a chance.
(like a junky, I myself have sworn off the salt, and yet returned on my knees too many times already this year to retain my self esteem!)
