My vote goes for LaCrosse brand. I bought a pair new 6-7 yrs ago. I shellfished with them commercially...therefore brutalized them...for a full year, & have used them fairly often ever since. I don't pamper them when I don't use them. I hang them in an uninsulated barn during the offseason, & occaisonally hose them off after using them. They have never sprung a leak; the straps have not lost their stitching; & I would reccomend them to anyone who wants a fairly heavy "shell" to use in most cold water situations.
