Just wanted to post a positive experience I had with SciAnglers. At the end of last year I bought my first SW fly outfit, including a SA Striper line. I really didn't like the way it coiled in the cold waters around here, and talked to someone in cust. service. She sent me out a new 'cold water' line for free, the next day. No questions asked, no need to return the other line.
After fishing it hard this summer, I noticed that it started to get a little stiff in a few spots, but was still usable. Then at the end of the season I noticed that the coating was coming off the core in a few spots, and would get caught up in the guides when casting. Now this could very well have been from accidental abuse on my part, accidentally stepping on the line, having a fish flop over the line, with gill plates and spines flailing about, etc.
I called up cust. service again, told them my problem, and after sending in this line, they sent a brand new one back, no questions asked.
Just thought I would post a positive experience for once, I'm the first to complain about stuff like this.
