Was going to start trout fishing today... But ... (I hate snakes!) started fishing turned around and looked down (always looking for indian stuff) and there is some kind of 3 foot water snake looking at me! See Ya!
So I went to nauset for dusk! No One there.. except some bass. Caught maybe 10? I lose count easy. I small keeper. No fish showing but there... all on heavy clouser. slow retrieve.
Checked Cape Cod Bay and those baliou (northern version) are still washing in by the ton. Know someone that ate some, said they were better then smelt! You would think there might be a few big fish along the bay shore with all that easy food! Any one try Cape Cod Bay lately?
