Hi Greg, I have used an Orvis Battenkill 10/11 for 5 years now in saltwater without any problems. I had the drag serviced last year and they rebuilt it for $10.00. I think it is an excellent reel for the money and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a solid, dependable reel for $135.00.
