The last morning of September gave those of us that attended a blitz of Albies that I will not soon forget. Acres of feeding Albies from West Chop into the Middle Ground that wouldn't quit untill the tide did around 11:30 am. Tide started running west around first light and fishing was wild all morning. Standard issue 24" 7lb' ish albies one after another. I had to keep pinching myself thinking I was working a school of spring Bluefish. Weather was good untill 9:00am. and then it started honking out of the SW.I Fear this front coming in will screw things up. Try it if you can. I should probably go to work tomorrow! Most guys probably boated 6-8 fish each on fly rods.I used a 6 wt..... most fun you can have with your pants on..
