Fished Edgartown Light and Cape Poge Gut(from Shore). Nothing happening at the light, but boy were the Albies active at the Gut. I'm talking about fish rushing in to take bait from between my ankles.(I was in knee deep) Albies routinely rushed the shallows for bait and made a serious ruckus between my legs. Nothing landed but both my wife and I had one on an lost 'em.
Fished for Bass until about 2am with absolutely no hits. Fished both the south and north shores....Bass and Blues seem VERY scarce this year. It will probably break open just when I've got to leave.(Sunday.)
Oh well, hopefully have more to report tomorrow...Off to hunt the Albies again.
