Any luck at the NWR on Plum Island?

I have been on the road for the last 3 months and have only been able to get to
Plum Island a few times. I know that the National Wildlife Refuge is open, but does anyone have any info on what's going on there?
I fished it last year a couple times a week and enjoyed some of the best top water action I have ever seen from shore, but have not heard anything this year.
