Scott: I've found that circle hooks; while more expensive per hook than standard baithooks, balance out costwise because you use less of them because you rarely have to cut the line and leave a hook behind.
In any event it is so cool to crank down, have the fish hook itself and when you bring it in see that perfect hookset.
