Just a quick re-type as this a.m.'s post went with last board. ( late Aug. )
Started at 5:30 a.m. Walked and cast from point to jetty and back. Plenty of schoolies on sandeels.
The closer I got to jetty, the smaller the fish got. One micro on aceanfront. Majority of fish 18-20". A couple of 22"s. Tops was a 25". All on the usual.
One pod of decent fish broke over sandbar at 6:30...out of casting range, of course.
