Rhody Flatwing: (I tie olive or all chartreuse this is olive)

1) Tie onto hook of you choice with white thread 6/0 at eye and wind down to bend.
2) Tie in 5 long white bucktail on top of hook at bend. (TAIL)
3) Tie in 10 shorter white bucktail at bend and spread around shank.(SKIRT)
4) Tie 1 long olive saddle hackle flat on top of hook at hook bend.(FlatWing)
5) Tie in Pearlescent Bill's Bodi-Braid and wrap all materials and tie off just before hook eye.
6) Tie in 4 or 5 long yellow bucktail on top of shank close to hook eye.
7) Tie in 4 or 5 long blue bucktail on top of shank close to hook eye.
8) Flip over and tie in 5 or 6 white bucktail on bottom of shank to form belly close to eye.
9) Flip back over and tie in 2 flashabou pearlescent on each side of shank close to eye.
10) Tie in 1 gold tinsel on each side close to eye.
11) Tie in 4 or 5 olive bucktail on top of shank close to eye.
12) Tie in 5 or 6 peacock herl on top close to eye.
-eyes are optional I never add since the head is small and it is a waste.
-short 1" red bucktail at eye under shand for gills is optional.

color variations are up to you.

Tips.
-Keep thread tight so head is small
-don't take too many wraps over each material addition.
-add drop of glue after every couple of material additions.
-keep sparse and allow materials to form a spread out puffed up look.
this will make for pulsating action when stripped & stopped.
